Do you start every day with Good Morning America? Do you think that the Today Show is the essence of everything that is evil in the world? Well, then you sound perfect for an internship with ABC. They have all kinds of internships, from the typical business areas to opportunities with specific shows. They make it a bit hard to find out how to apply, so that’s what we’re going to focus on today.
News outlets have a habit of putting their internship listings in the format of news stories (Fox News does this too). We first came across ABC’s Internships on this page, which we found through a Google search. The page actually gives nice, detailed descriptions of all the ABC News internships, but all it says about applying is to go to DisneyCareers.com (it does say that you can apply for positions in Washington, DC by e-mailing ABCTV.News.DC.Interns@abc.com, but it doesn’t say which positions these are) . Once you get to the Disney Careers site, you may be tempted to click on the Student Opportunities link, but you should avoid that and go straight for Openings link. You’ll find a search box, and you can select from the Market Title box “2008 ABC Internships - Fall (NYC).” Click Search, and it will take you here, where you can apply for any of the internships listed below.

The first page that we showed you says that ABC News internships are unpaid and located in Washington, DC, Los Angeles, and New York City. This Disney Careers page says that the internships are paid and in New York City. We’re not sure which is correct. The application deadline is Tuesday, July 15, 2008 for Fall Internships.
